EVENTS AT HIRANANDANI
The last leg of the year is the most festive and celebrated part ever at Hiranandani. Festivity and celebration are in the air and there’s a smile on every face. The Hiranandanians bonded with each other and rejoiced at the Garba Nights.
The residents bought fresh produce at the Organic Mela and had a relaxing time at the Flea Market. This was followed by the Carnival of Lights during Diwali when the entire Hiranandani Estate looked alive and vibrant in the darker hours of the day.
The Imagica character carnival was quite a unique fest this year and the little residents were very delighted to have the characters around.
The health freaks came out in large numbers this year at the Powai Run. A lot of people from all over the city joined this frenzy.

The year ended on a very bright note with the Hiranandani Gardens being lit up during New Year. The Hiranandanians celebrated the holiday season with utmost fervour.

When we used to drive down to Powai we used to feel that it’s really far, but once we reached here, the homes and roads were so different. It was unlike the rest of Mumbai. Rooms were not looking into other homes, roads were not cramped. The feeling that a garden with fresh dew drops gives cannot be obtained in a gym. It is that feeling that is addictive. I have been addicted to walking in fresh air since I moved here. The special task force that is always doing the rounds make us feel extremely safe. And we’re not even paying for them. This is something you don’t see everywhere.
The concept of walking to work is unique. I reach home within minutes and have dinner with my son everyday. By the time I retire to bed, some people are still stuck in traffic. Hiranandani gives me quality of life.

I stayed in Peddar Road when I moved to Mumbai. Then someone told me about a new township in Powai – but I first thought that Powai was a jungle. That definitely changed when I set my eyes on the township in 1998.
Who gives the kind of greenery or pavements that Hiranandani has. The city is deprived of pavements. And here, I love walking on them. It’s like not living in Mumbai at all.
We love the way all the festivals are celebrated here. Ultimately, it’s not just about the money but the quality of life that one gets to lead here that is incomparable.

We used to live in Prague earlier and we were used to open spaces and gardens. My husband had come to do a recce and he saw Hiranandani homes and this is the nearest to Prague with its landscaped gardens and open spaces.
We also feel that the temperature here is a notch lesser than Bandra. In Bandra we feel so claustrophobic and humid. It has to be the way the buildings are designed here with gaps between them to allow circulation. It is always very pleasant here and unlike any other part of Mumbai.

I have made a very interesting observation that within a radius of about 3 kms we would have around 500 start ups. So many fresh ideas, so much young energy constitute the beauty of this place. To top it all even IIT Powai is close by. This is one of the reasons why there are so many entrepreneurs around. It really impresses me since I am a Venture Capitalist and it gives me immense pleasure to see so many new ideas being generated around me.
When we look at the residents living here they are mostly the CXO level people. They have made it big in life and value quality of life.
The common thing that we get to see here is passion. Everybody is so passionate about what they do. Even Hiranandani is built on passion and this emotion remains common all across.
